Roy Hendrix, 66, of Gentry, AR formally of Keiser, AR, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021. He was born April 22, 1955, in Black Water, AR to Ernest Clifton and Martha Jane Hendrix.
He was a Member of Gentry First Assembly of God, where he enjoyed serving the Lord and was a Volunteer with the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management where he served as a Ham Radio Operator. He was employed at American Greetings for more than 30 years. After retirement, he moved to Gentry and worked for McKee Foods Corporation. He enjoyed collecting guns, fishing, making jokes and spending time with his family and church family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son: Daniel Aaron Hendrix; brothers: Ray Hendrix and Homer Lee Hendrix; sisters: Norma Anderson, Frances Mitchell and Shirley Britton.
He is survived by his wife: Faye Hendrix; son: Matt (Wendy) Hendrix; grandchildren: Erin Hardin and Cody Clifton; great-grandchildren: Cole Wade Clifton, Korbyn Rose Clifton and Sierra Jade Jones.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 6-8 pm at Roller Swift Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be Monday, September 13,2021 at 11 am at Roller Swift Funeral Home.

Roy was such a good friend to everyone here at McKee Foods. He always had a smile on his face and just had a way of brightening everyone's day. He never hesutated to help or talk with anyone. He will be missed but will always be in our hearts and prayers. God bless your family during this difficult time.
