Virginia Harrison
July 8th 1939 - August 20th 2021
How do you pen the life of someone like Virginia in couple of paragraphs? Virginia's life seemed to be a surrounded by challenges. Raised by a single mother, a challenging marriage that ended in divorce. She saw her life as an opportunity to change her family's history. Virginia would never speak ill of anyone including the father of her children, she chose instead to remember the good times and was often quoted as saying he gave me four beautiful children. I guess her character could be defined by a quote she penned; My father left me, my husband left me but my Heavenly Father has never left me. She will be remembered for her incredible faith and gentle sweet spirit, even in her death she modeled faith, a great attitude, and faced Alzheimer's disease with great courage. She never asked why me but continued to show her great faith. She was preceded in death by her parents Seyman and Erma Horton.
Virginia had four adoring children, all of which are married to their original spouses. Eddie and Cheryl Harrison of Bryant, David and Sheila Harrison of Texarkana, Sondra and Tim Daniel of Conway, and Terri and Jay Thompson of Malvern. Eight grandchildren, Candice Hill, Ashley Lindsey, Nicki Spivey, Jordan Harrison, Harrison Daniel, Shelby Daniel, Lindsey Glenn, and Jake Thompson; Twenty-one great grandchildren.
The visitation will be Thursday August 26, 2021 from 12-12:30 at Lifeline Baptist with a celebration of life to follow. The cemetery service at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens will begin at 2:00. Memorials can be made to Lifeline Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.

So sorry for your loss. Aunt Jenny was a wonderful person. She never had a bad word to say about anyone. Her baby sister
Sue Nixon, had her for an older sister for almost eighty years. I’m sure some day in heaven they will see and know each other.
Rest peacefully Aunt Jenny.
So sorry for your loss. Your mom was an amazing christian woman who loved all her children. God has gained a special angel.

Your mother was a special lady. She always had a smile, kind word, and sweet spirit. She loved Jesus and she loved her children.
She made my lovely wedding dress. I know you will miss her. My visual is that she took her last earthly breath and stepped into the loving arms of Jesus.
