Larry Ashley of West Memphis, AR, passed away on June 28, 2021, at age 72. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Thides Ashley; four brothers, Charles, Bud, Jerry and Donald Ray Ashley; three sisters, Melba Peqenom Ann Gilley and Gail Kilburn.
Larry is survived by his wife, Carolyn Coulter Ashley; three daughters, Whitney Corry (Nic), Wesley Ashley (Brianna) and Wallis Ashley; three grandchildren, Ellie Ashley, William Corry and Mary Alice Corry; one brother, Bobby Ashley; one sister, Joyce Sparks and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and other family members.
Larry enjoyed a lengthy career as Vice-President and Senior Project Manager of F & F Construction Co., Inc. in Memphis, Tennessee. He and his wife Carolyn attended the First United Methodist Church in West Memphis.
Larry was a loving and devoted husband and father. His life was an example of a caring, patient and hard-working man. If you were lucky enough to know Larry, you are blessed to have met a one-of-a-kind, special man. He will be sorely missed and remembered with love by his family, friends, and co-workers.
Family and friends are welcome to attend the 5:00 7:00 pm visitation being held in Deneke Hall at the First United Methodist Church, 215 N. Missouri St., West Memphis, AR 72301. A Memorial Service will follow at 7:00 pm in the Church Sanctuary.

I know you better than you know me because Wesley is a dear friend of mine who adores and shares her deep love for family in so many ways. I have grown to love each of you through her, including the mountain of a man that is her dad. I only got to meet him once but I am so grateful I did. I will keep you all so close to my heart.

Mr Larry was a precious man with a heart of gold. I’m honored I had the pleasure of knowing this man.
We didn’t know Larry long but we sure liked him and thought he was a fine person who loved his family and friends and would do anything for them. He let me get some stones that were on my grandparents’ house when they tore it down to make the parking lot for the school. He will be missed. Our prayers go out to the family.

My husband Larry and Larry have been friends 40+ years. We will miss his visits, his phone calls and his humor. My Larry often helped Larry on car projects, construction jobs, etc.

I would just like to send my prayers and deepest condolences to larry’s family, I met Larry a little over a year ago when I went to work for F&F, we immediately became friends not just employer and employee, I can honestly say he is one of the most sincere Man that I’ve ever met, Larry made me feel like He had known me my whole life, he will truly be missed.( RIP MR LARRY )
