Myrtle Claressia McCormack, age 79, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away on June 24, 2021 in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Myrtle was born on June 27, 1941 in Killen, Alabama to the late Carl and Bertha Marie (Holden) Jones. Myrtle was a hard worker, she had many jobs throughout her life but the most important was being a mother and grandmother; being a mother to three rowdy boys, Myrtle loved getting to spend time with (and spoil) her granddaughters. She was known to be a spunky, Christian lady who loved country music and Elvis Presley. She also liked to crotchet and sew. Myrtle was loved by her family and will be missed dearly.
She is survived by her sons Benny (Kelly) Hamby of Yellville, Arkansas; Vincent Adams of Tucson, Arizona and Eddie (Lisa) McCormack; Brother, Roger (Joan) Jones and Sahuarita, Arizona; Sister, Sue (John) Slavy of Tucson, Arizona.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held at the Yellville Pentecostal Church on July 10, 2021 with Pastor Mike Ellis officiating.
Services are in the care of Roller-Burns Funeral Home, in Yellville, Arkansas.
