Gloria L. Nicholas Brady 88, of Marianna, Arkansas a devoted Christian went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 11, 2021. She was born Wednesday, November 9, 1932 in Lee County, Arkansas to Homer Nicholas and Adell Criag Nicholas.
She is survived by her husband Richard Brady, of the home, two sons, Richard D. Brady, William H. Brady, two daughters, Barbara Robinson (Charles), and Linda Jansonius (Neal), four grandchildren, Clay Brady (Heather), John Brady, Brian Brady, and Erin Jansonius, and six great-grandchildren, Preston Brady, Jacob Thompson, Zac Thompson, McKayla Brady, Ava Brady, and Sophia Brady.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Junior Lee, Paul, and Albert Nicholas, three sisters, Bernice Lauritzen, Ruby Hendrix and Lucy Gularte.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Patients Choice Hospice and special care givers, Lindsey Martin, Star Wages, Misty Strange and JoAnna Burns.
Mrs. Brady was a bookkeeper for 30 years at Tri-County in West Helena along with her life's work as wife, mother, and grandmother to so many. She was an adopted much loved mom to many friends and relatives. She enjoyed gardening, canning and fishing with her husband of 69 years.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Marianna Memorial Park in Marianna, Arkansas with Brother Gene Craig officiating. It has been a pleasure and an honor to care for Mrs. Brady in her final time on this Earth. My prayers for Mr.Richard and for all of the family. She will be missed but we know she is at rest.
