Mary Watts Creasy Gunter, age 81 of Pensacola, Florida died on February 15th, 2021. She was born in Marshall, Arkansas on September 27th, 1939 to Euclid U. Watts and Ray Bailey Watts.
Mary grew up in Marshall and was a graduate of the class of 1957. She moved to Little Rock to attend business school and was blessed to live with her Uncle James and Aunt Geneva Watts during that time. Her career included being employed at Dillard's, Maybelline and Farm Bureau. She was a Christian and loved the Lord. Mary was an avid reader and loved watching football. She also liked camping, attending rodeos, growing a garden and canning. Mary moved to Florida many years ago, but loved staying in constant touch by phone with all her family. We will greatly miss hearing her loving voice.
Survivors include her daughters, Bobbie Salah (Masoud) of Memphis, TN, Felicia Stackpole (Craig) of Pensacola, FL and Kelly Atlas (Richard) of Little Rock; grandson, Gunter Stackpole who was the love of her life; brother, Donny Watts (Diann) of Marshall; sisters, Leada Horton (James) of Marshall and Greta Shipman (Anthony) of Mountain View; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert E. Creasy; her second husband, Billy R. Gunter; her parents, Euclid and Ray Watts; brothers, Willie Watts and Clyde Watts; and nephew, Billy Don Watts.
A graveside memorial service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 12th, 2021 at Canaan Cemetery in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Anthony Shipman officiating. Special music will be performed by Johnny Wayne Horton.
