We were so lucky to be a part of uncle buddies Dash. We have lots of memories that were made through the years that we were cherish in our hearts forever. He was a loving man with a big heart. He always made us laugh and kept us on our toes. One of our last visit he gave big Royce a raise it back that will be treasured forever and will be a reminder of a great man. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and we are sending a big hug to all filled with lots of love.

THE DASH
the poem by Linda Ellis
I read of a man who stood to speak at the funeral of a friend. He referred to the dates on the tombstone from the beginning... to the end.
He noted that first came the date of birth and spoke of the following date with tears, but he said what mattered most of all was the dash between those years.
For that dash represents all the time they spent alive on earth and now only those who loved them know what that little line is worth.
For it matters not, how much we own, the cars... the house... the cash. What matters is how we live and love and how we spend our dash.
So think about this long and hard; are there things you'd like to change For you never know how much time is left that still can be rearranged.
To be less quick to anger and show appreciation more and love the people in our lives like we've never loved before.
If we treat each other with respect and more often wear a smile... remembering that this special dash might only last a little while.
So when your eulogy is being read, with your life's actions to rehash, would you be proud of the things they say about how you lived your dash

Much Love to you, Jean, Tonya & Pam
A friend died this morning, and the life of a family is changed forever! And as you cry, you realize that God's Mercy is evident in people dying, even though the grief is staggering! As you sit at the table with the family, you can feel the difference in the house because the silence has a sound, and the noise seems to be muffled. There is no way to stop the tears from flowing, and I believe Jesus collects our tears, when we loose a loved one, to make a special rainbow after the tears stop flowing so much to remind us of that loved one! Rest in Peace, Buddy Brock! You will be missed A LOT!!

Dear Brock family,

I worked with Buddy for many years at DCS/DIS and loved every minute of it. We enjoyed his story of making care packages at Christmas time for his girls to going and getting us a Bobby Burger. I learned a bunch of life lessons from him and how to deal with working for the State. I know one thing he loved you all so much and that should be a big comfort to you all. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
