Wanda Jean Young, 67, of England, Arkansas went to be with the Lord March 5, 2021. She was born July 27, 1953 in Wright, Arkansas to Morley and Emma Jean Welch.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years Faron Young, her mother Emma Jean, children, David (Christy) Mackey and Jessica Young both of England and Clay (Kim) Young of North Little Rock, six grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, two sisters, Brenda Brown and Barbara (Rick) Miller as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Morley Welch, grandson Bradley Young, brother Jerry Welch and brother-in-law Marvin Brown.
Wanda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of The England Pentecostal Church of God where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She enjoyed studying for her class, leading songs and playing with her grandchildren. She worked in the kitchen at Remington for several years and also was a caregiver in her younger years.
Funeral services are being handled by Roller England Funeral Home (501) 842-3939. Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, March 8, 2021 at Roller England Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Roller England Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mulberry Cemetery England, Arkansas.
