I'm sorry I missed the service, I was out of State when I saw he had passed. Mr. Jake was a wonderful person. I always looked up to him and Mrs. Jerri. Their love for each other gave us all peace in what the future can be. May the Lord wrap his arms around you all and give you comfort and peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today and the days to come.

Know you were prepared but not ready! Came to the cemetery today but with the large crowd didn’t feel it safe to attend the service. Our prayers are with you.

Jake was as fine a man as I ever met in my 34 years with GTE. I have walked where you now walk, so my prayers go out for each family member to feel the very presence of God and His hand under your arm as He carries you forward and shoulders this lose with every step you take.
