Cynthia Gwen Potter, 61, of Quitman, went to be with her Lord on Friday, October 9, 2020 at her home. She was born on Tuesday, October 28, 1958 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Gerald Holland and the late Lecta Kay Proctor Holland.
Mrs. Potter was united in marriage on June 6, 2018 in Greers Ferry, Arkansas to Dee Potter. She was a Registered Nurse, former EMT, a daycare owner and a member of the Salem Primitive Baptist Church. She was a wonderful mother, loved to crochet, she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, canning and spending time with her husband.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dee Potter of the home; son, Jeremy Boyce of Quitman, Arkansas; daughters, Kristina Hart of Conway, Arkansas, Beka Duncan of Quitman, Arkansas, Mandy Stracener of Quitman, Arkansas, Corinna Potter of Booneville, Arkansas and April Harris of Greers Ferry, Arkansas; father, Gerald Holland of Quitman, Arkansas; sisters, Sharon Thompson of Conway, Arkansas, Robin Salter of Desha, Arkansas; Angie Thompson of Wilburn, Arkansas and Sandy Dubard of Mississippi; grandchildren, Dillyan Stanek, Darian Boyce, Abby Boyce, Katie Boyce, Brayden Boyce, Liam Boyce, Hank Boyce, Jeremy Connor Boyce, Arissa Brackett, Ethan Stracener, Evin Stracener, Bethany Duncan, Jacey Duncan, Gracie Glasco, Ryan Harris, Blake Harris, Alleigh Harris, Lillie Potter and Raydan Ramos; great-grandchildren, Dean Brackett and Amelia Brackett; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be 4-8pm, Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier with the family present from 6-8pm. Funeral service will be 10am, Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Salem Primitive Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Adcock officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Salem Cemetery under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Greenbrier.
Roller Funeral Homes are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 100 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
