Billy Franklin McClain, 80, of England, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 10, 2020. He was born September 18, 1939 in Snow Lake, Arkansas to James Luther McClain and Edith Alvey Armstrong McClain.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 44 years, Jackie; four brothers: Charles, Fred, Jim and Tom McClain; one sister: Mary Catherine "Cat" Boutwell.
Billy is survived by two sons: Todd McClain (Terri) of Southlake, Texas and John Brennan (Ashley) of Nicholasville, Kentucky; three daughters: Toni Busick (Mike) of England, Arkansas, Heather Rhea Monroe (Jonah) of Essex, Maryland and Elizabeth McClain of North Little Rock, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; two brothers: David McClain (Margaret) of Arizona and Tyler McClain (Virginia) of Tennessee; also his nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Billy worked as a Sales Rep for Crunden Martin Manufacturing Company. He loved his family; he was an avid sports fan and he loved the outdoors.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Farmhill Cemetery in Harrisburg, Arkansas. Bro. Gary Williams will be officiating.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor and visitation attendance to 50 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
Sorry for the loss of Bill, we were always close thru school and graduated. I enjoyed getting to visit him in England. I will really miss him.
