of Little Rock, AR
September 6, 1984 - June 10, 2020
Matthew Dunn-Friesenhahn, 35, of Little Rock, passed away June 10, 2020. He was born September 6, 1984, in San Antonio, Texas to Mark Dunn and Elizabeth Friesenhahn.
He loved to read, study world religion, listen to music and write poetry. He like to eat healthy and was always honest. Matthew was a loving son, father, brother and friend. He will live on through his organ donation.
A note from Matthew's Mother: Yesterday my son, Matthew, took his own life. He has fought drug addiction for twenty years. He had good times and hard times. No one can tell us what events led to his ultimate choice.
However, we believe that illicit drug addiction contributed to his mental decline and depression. Please keep us in your prayers as we once again grieve for our loved one. Matthew, may you find peace at last; I will always love you.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father; Glenn Friesenhahn.
Survivors include his children; Mackenzie, Lucas and Kaitlyn Dunn-Friesenhahn; mother; Elizabeth Friesenhahn, birth father; Mark Dunn, brother; Paul Dunn-Friesenhahn (Mary); aunt; Carol McLeod (Robert), uncles; William King (Linney), John King (Michelle), and Perry Dunn.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm, Tuesday, June16, 2020, at Roller Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway.
We are complying with ADH guidelines and limiting indoor visitation to 50 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
