of Jackson, TN
August 23, 1928 - March 17, 2020
Gracie Faye Dean Leonard Eddleman of Aubrey, AR, departed this life on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at age 91. Gracie, or Faye as she was known to some family and close friends, was born on August 23, 1928 to Jim and Mary Jones Leonard of Aubrey, AR. Gracie grew up in Aubrey, AR, but also lived an adventurous life, working in Bisbee, AZ, Kansas City, MO, and Chicago, IL, before she met the love of her life, Roy Aylor Eddleman. Roy and Gracie were married on September 15, 1951, and began their family with four children, Phillip (Dian) of Jackson, TN, Andrew (Sandra) of Paragould, AR, Terry (Stephanie) of Searcy, AR, and Tina Bartlett of Jackson, TN. Family was important to Gracie, and she tended her family with the same meticulous care she put into the flowerbeds surrounding her home. Gracie loved nothing more than having her entire family present with her on the holidays and special occasions. Gracie was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Jim Leonard, husband, Roy A. Eddleman, sister, Vella Pruett, and four brothers, Thomas, Elmo, Harvey, and Jessie. Gracie leaves behind a sister, Anna Mae English, brothers, Billy and Glenn Leonard, four children, ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
Family visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2020, at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna. The family will receive visitors at 2 p.m. with funeral services following immediately at 3 p.m. Burial and a brief graveside service will follow in Marianna Memorial Park.
Faye was a great aide to my summer job one year, and I was glad to work with her. Seems all those working where I was disappeared by the 3 years I finished college. The 70s we're a changing time, but wish I had known she moved from Marianna. Traveled a lot once I became single.

We are so sorry for your loss. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.
Most, if not all, the variations of the basic meaning of "Aunt Gracie's" name suggest spiritual beauty and genuine kindliness. The same was true of her character and personality. We are not able to say our last goodbyes at the service. But we think she knew that we feel much richer for having had her grace our lives for a time.
With loving remembrance,
Jim and Joan Eddleman and Family
Thinking of you with prayers and love!
Prayers for all family
We all have wonderful memories of this kind-hearted, Christian lady. She will be missed by many. She loved greatly and was greatly loved. May her children and grand children continue to follow her Godly example.
Praying for comfort and blessings for you all,
Jody and Kathryn Guidry
My sincere condolences to the family.
Sorry for the loss of your loved one. Prayers for all in this difficult time.
Dear sweet family and friends.... my heart hurts for all of you. What a sweet, sweet lady she was. Always soft spoken, but direct. She is with uncle Roy and rejoicing with her savior. I love you all....Linda
