Louie Joseph (Joe) Scott, 78, of Fisher, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2020 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born December 22, 1941 in Fisher to Shorty and Lottie Gunter Scott. Mr. Scott was a farmer and loved hunting.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, R.D. Scott and a sister, Margrette Malone.
Joe leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 58 years, Cathy Brown Scott; a son, Joey (Stacy) Scott; a daughter, Debby (Steve) Maynard; grandchildren, Joel and Trey Scott, Chase Maynard, Keely Imboden, Carson Maynard; step-grandchildren, Hayden and Jordan Davis, and Carlee Little; several great grandchildren; and a sister, Iva Belle Scott.
A memorial service will be held 3 pm Thursday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 712 North Van Buren in Weiner with Jeff Junyor officating. Burial will be private at a later date.
Visitation will begin at 2 pm.

Very sorry for your loss. It is not easy when one passes away. We are selfish and wish they could hang on a little longer. We have the memories we shared with our loved ones. We never forget them but I think it is good that we talk about them so that future generations will know who their predecessors were. God Bless you all during this most difficult time.
