Betty L. Owensby, 65, of Marianna, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020. She was born Tuesday, September 14, 1954 to Vartum and Ethel Fergerson Cook in Memphis, Tennessee.
She is survived by two sons, Casey Owensby (Michelle), of Marianna, Arkansas; Jody Owensby (Belinda), of Forrest City, Arkansas one God-son, Shane Martin, of Little Rock, Arkansas; two daughters, Clara Owensby, of Forrest City, Arkansas; Lucy Eoff (Jeff), of Pocahontas, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren, Ashley Williams, Danielle Grisham (Daniel), Jody Owensby II, Josh Owensby (Courtney), Tiffany Miller (Jonathan), Jessica Cantrell, Glenn Cantrell, Trey Owensby, Matt Owensby, Casey Owensby II, Justin Owensby, twelve great-grandchildren, Jamie Hooker, Skyler Hooker, Preston Hooker, Hunter Grishom, Landon Grishom, Conner Grishom, Tracy Middleton, Brittany Craig, Wyatt Williams, Gracie Son, Autumn Miller, Karter Owensby, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins , friends,her two best pets, Lady & Little bit, special family friend, Joe Sensanbaugh, and one sister-in-law, Janie Cardwell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of fifty years, George Owensby, one son, Audy Owensby and one brother, Gene Jordan.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Moro, Arkansas. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 14,2020 from 12:00-2:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas.
