Lafayette ''Laf'' Ray, 84, of Lexa, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at his home. He was born Sunday, February 5, 1933 to Monroe Hilton and Euna Mae Orear Ray in Fargo, Arkansas,
Mr. Ray is survived by his wife, Aggie Ray, of the home, one son, Terry Clark, of Forrest City, Arkansas; three daughters, JoAnne Snowden, of Helena, Arkansas; Kay Griffin (Melvin), of DeWitt, Arkansas; Windie Snowden, of Morrilton, Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, two brothers, Franklin Ray (Francis), of Kansas City, Kansas; Bobby Ray (Nila), of Little Rock, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Leland, Pardo, Johnny, Billy, one sister, Francis Hannon, and step-daughter, Lavonda Layton.
Services for Mr. Ray will be held Monday, January 13, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 12, 2020 from 1:00-3:00 P.M. also at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna. Burial will follow services at LaGrange Cemetery in LaGrange, Arkansas.
