She played softball, golf and had a great time playing Bunco with her ''Bunco'' girls. Growing up in Newport, Arkansas she was known as one of the best football players on her block.
The family would like to express their gratitude and love to Jamie Jacobs-McGraw for the love and care that she provided to Mary during her final journey and to the host of extended family and friends who have been by her side throughout this journey.

Teri and Michael sorry to hear about your mother Sarah House
Dear Terri and Mike, I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet Mother! I have known Mary Ann since we lived on the same block at Newport. It was so great that we both ended up in England and continued our friendship all these many years! She was the best employee I ever had at Nan"s Young fashions, I know you will miss her terribly, as will every one who knew her..Love to all of her family. Nan
Terri and Kiki, I can’t began to tell you how much Mary Ann meant to me. She made such a difference in my life. She was the friend you could talk to about anything. I have such wonderful memories of her. I still smile when I think about our senior year and that railroad trestle. If it hadn’t been for her I don’t think I would have married Charlie. We are still together after 58 years.
We were so excited when we found out our granddaughter’s knew each other. We are so happy that Kiki and Meg are roommates this year. Our sweet Mary Ann is loved by so many.
She will forever live in my heart. I’m a better person for knowing her. We will be together again!! My heart and prayers go out to your family!!
My mom, LaVerne Patterson, bowled with "Mary Mac" for years. She was a wonderful lady and loved by so many. So sorry for your loss.
My deepest sympathy to your family. We all loved Ms Mary Dearly . I
Terry, Mike, and family,
Your Mother was the most authentic, genuine, sweet, and always so gracious people I’ve ever known. I’m so sorry you’ve lost her, but what a great mother you had, and I know, without a doubt, she’s left you with amazing memories.
Peace be with you all, and I know she’s in heaven watching over all of you.
With Much Sympathy,
Becky Bowie Rainwater

So sorry for your loss. RIP sweet angel.
My sincere love and prayers to both of you. The happiest and most excellent example of gods love. She was a delight to know for over 40 years. Praying for comfort and peace in the days ahead. Love you all.
Even when death is expected, it is so very unexpected when it finally comes. I am a classmate of Mary Ann's, graduated with her in 1957 from Newport High School. She was and remains one of my dear, good friends. I am so thankful that I was able to stop and visit with her at the hospice on July 22nd on my way back to Newport from Texas. I got to tell her goodbye and that I loved her. She told me on that visit that she was going home that weekend. I thought it just talk but was, and now not even a month later, she has truly gone HOME. Give rest, O Christ, to Mary Ann with all thy saints where sorrow and pain are no more, neither sighing, but life everlasting.
Mary, Mary, what a wonderful lady and friend it has been my pleasure to have worked with at the Roller-England Funeral Home. You will be missed beyond our memory. Billie and I extend our sincere condolences to all family members.
Mary Ann Compton McFadden Frizzell was a kind and gentle soul. We managed to stay in touch since we were in school together in Newport, Arkansas - more than 60 years. Each time I saw her, it was like we had never been apart. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to visit with her overnight last year. I will miss her loving friendship. I am certain she made this world a better place because she was in it. Seeing her was always special.
My precious auntie I miss you already so much. Love you forever
