Robert Mark Senteney, 66, of Jonesboro passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019. He was born in Harrisburg and grew up in Weiner, the son of the late LeRoy ''Bud'' Senteney and Bobby Lois Smith.
Mark served his country proudly in the National Guard. He was a seasoned pilot, farmer, avid hunter, and fisherman. In his later years, while battling cancer, he enjoyed building and flying his collection of model remote-controlled airplanes.
He is survived by his spouse, Pam Vanderburg Senteney, of Jonesboro; his sister, Jane Senteney Doty (Buddy); niece, Emily Doty Richey (Heath) and her children Riley and Emma; his nephew, J. Paul Doty (Amber) and their son Cannon Dale all of Walnut Ridge; his daughter, Jana Ellis (Brian); and 5 grandchildren, Jack, Eli, Mark, Charlie, and Elizabeth of Washington, D.C.; his son, Gabe Tatum (Brigette) and grandson, Madden of Jonesboro; his daughter, Sami Jo Dawson (Justin) and 3 grandchildren Carter, Laney, and Charleston-Kate of Southhaven, MS; and his son, Colt Woods of Austin, TX.
Honorary pallbearers are Lloyd Wofford, Bobby Joe Smith, J.T. Hall, Tony Sullins, Tommy Bowden, Tommy Cunningham, Scott Matthews, Tim Healy, and Wendell Steele.
A celebration of his life will be held Friday, May 24th at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Weiner with 2:00pm service, 1:00pm visitation and private family burial.
