Robert Lee Mooney Sr., 68, of Lexa, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019. He was born on Monday, February 5, 1951 to Cecil and Louise Davis Mooney.
He is survived by two sons, Robert Mooney Jr., (Jennifer), of Marianna, Arkansas, Deke Mooney, of Dallas, Texas, one daughter, Tina Stevens, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, five grandchildren, Joshua Mooney, Allison Mooney, Carter Grigsby, Emily Grigsby, and Christopher Wyatt, two sisters, Linda Cagle of Palestine, Arkansas, Judy Foster, of West Memphis, Arkansas, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Cecil Mooney and one sister, Allideen Kitchens.
He loved hunting and fishing and spending time with his grandkids. He was a roofer for more than fifty years.
Pallbearers will be Lance Renshaw, Michael Renshaw, Allen Kitchens, Brian Mooney, Josh Mooney and Tyler Kitchens.
Services will be held Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Rondo Missionary Baptist Church in Rondo, Arkansas with Brother Jeff Cagle officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas.
