Icie Nell Corbell Justice, 82, a former resident of Keo and West Helena, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. Mrs. Justice was born in Mineral Springs on December 19, 1936, to the late Lester C. Corbell and Ruth Lonon Corbell. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years Ernest D. Justice, sister Martha Jo Corbell Castle, and brother Carroll Edward Corbell.
She will be sadly missed by her sister Becke Combs; brother James Corbell; daughter Nora Justice; son David Justice; daughter Lisa Justice Gillespie (Tim); and three grandchildren Rachel Ham, Rowan Skye Gillespie, and Conner Ewan Gillespie.
After graduating from Mineral Springs High School in 1954, she earned her B. S. E. from Henderson State Teachers College in 1958.
Mrs. Justice is a former resident and retired school teacher of West Helena, where she taught for over 30 years. An active member of 2nd Baptist Church of West Helena and Barton Baptist Church of Barton, she joined Keo Baptist church after moving with her husband to Keo in 1997. Mrs. Justice was an avid reader throughout her life, with a special fondness for mysteries and detective stories. After the death of her husband in 2009, she relocated to Leesburg, Virginia, to enjoy the close company of her children and grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 pm on Sunday, January 27, 2019, at the Roller-England Funeral Home (501) 842-3939, with visitation before the service from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Burial will be in the Keo Cemetery following the funeral service on Sunday. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (https://www.alz.org).
The family wishes to express special thanks to the staff and management of Sunrise at Leesburg for their loving care and support during her years in Virginia, and also the church family at Keo Baptist who supported her during the illness and passing of her husband.

So sorry for your loss. Icie & Ernest were members at Second Baptist Church and we saw them and their children, there at least 3 times each week. They also taught our sons in school in West Helena. We were able to see Icie later after she moved to Virginia to be close to her children.
