Mary Cole, 79, of Marianna, Arkansas passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 in Memphis, Tennessee. She was born Saturday, February 25, 1939 to James 'Jim' Thomas Barnes and Eddie Mae Wilson Barnes in Earle, Arkansas.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Charles Cole Sr., of the home; three sons, Chuck Cole (Sylvia), of Marianna, Arkansas; Windy Cole (Leah Ann), of Marion, Arkansas; Tracy Cole (Jeanette), of West Memphis, Arkansas; six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, one great-grandson, seven step great-grandchildren, and six sisters, Janie McAlister, of Marianna, Arkansas; Patsy Simmons, of Wynne, Arkansas; Patricia Graham, Jacksonville, Florida; Linda Blansett, of Black Oak, Arkansas; Frankie Johnson, Pensacola, Florida; and Nancy Butler, of Heth, Arkansas, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Gladys Barnes, Helen Murphy, Lois Baine and three brothers, James, Wayne and Johnny Barnes.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Cole, Curtis Cole, David Cole, Dalton Cole, Robert Kennedy and Billy Harris. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Chunn and Brent Chunn.
Services will be held Monday, January 14, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at First Christian Church in Marianna, Arkansas with Brother Cliff Allen officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will follow services at Crittenden Memorial Park in West Memphis, Arkansas. Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas has charge of arrangements.
