Michael Edward Beard, 60, of Weiner, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. Mr. Beard was born March 3, 1958, in Harrisburg, to Walter and Louise Beard.

Mr. Beard was a member of the Weiner Christian Church. He enjoyed spending time at the lake, singing, playing music and having people visit at his home.

Preceding him in death are his parents; wife, Sheila Michelle Beard and a sister, Teresa Beard.

Survivors include a son, Jordan (Taylor) Beard; a daughter, Tiffany (Wesley) Liles and many second daughters; grandchildren, Skye Beard, Khloe Beard, Kaci Beard, Kade Beard and baby Liles; a brother, Timothy Beard and a sister, Linda (Randy) Ivy.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 22, at Weiner Christian Church at 11:00am with Jeff Junyor officiating and Don Reeves speaking. Pallbearers include, Austin Ivy, Taylor Ozbun, Zach Jones, Randy Mullins, Jake Henderson and Johnny Jones. Honorary bearers are J.R. Scoggins, Roger Reid, Allen Collier, Randy Hogue, Don Reeves, Randy Ivy and Steve Broach. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Weiner.

Visitation precedes the service at the church from 10:00am-11:00am.
