Ralph Madison Hix, 75, of Somerville, TN, passed away early morning on Thursday, August 16, 2018, in his home surrounded by his loving family.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, George Madison and Allie Muse Hix; and his sister, Marcia Ann Hix Peterson. He is survived by his cherished wife of 51 years, Beverly Roberts Hix; his 3 sons, Ralph Madison Hix, Jr. (Tiffany), Blake Alan Hix, and Robert Evan Hix; his granddaughter, Addison Greer; and his 4 grandsons, Cole Hix, Ashton Hix, Gage Hix, and Aiden Hix.
Ralph was an auto mechanic with Sears Auto for over 40 years, a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, and a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Somerville, TN.
Visitation will be held Sunday evening, August 19, 2018, 6:00 to 8:00 pm, with the funeral service on Monday morning, August 20, 2018, at 10:00 am, at First Baptist Church, 12685 S Main Street, Somerville, TN. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery Midtown, 1661 Elvis Presley Blvd, Memphis, TN.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests for memorial donations to be made to First Baptist Church in Somerville, TN.
Please accept my condolences for the loss of Ralph. Losing a loved one is a difficult experience. God's word promises there will come a time on earth when there will be no pain, suffering, or death (Revelation 21:3,4). May these promises provide comfort in this time of sadness.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family at this time of sorrow. Words cannot totally express the loss felt by your family but always remember the good times. Those memories will always be cherished. May God bless you all.
I only knew Mr. Ralph over the past year and what an interesting and fine Christian man he was. I know he will be missed. Prayers to Miss Beverly and the family as you go thru this difficult time. Love you all!!!

Know that we will keep Beverly close she and watch out for her as you will be watching her from above.
Sorry for your loss. Pop was a wonderful Christian man. I know he is sitting at the feet of Jesus. But he will be missed.
