I'm so sorry to hear of Francis’ passing. Loosing a loved one is never easy. I lost my dad in 2010, and my mom in 2012. After my losses, reading Revelation 21:3,4 gave me real comfort. It says: And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. I hope reading these verses also give you comfort during this difficult time. GW
Condolence to the Family of Francis Berry,,
There are few experiences more difficult than losing a loved one to death. I find comfort in knowing death was not God’s purpose for mankind and his purpose has not changed.
God’s word is clear, “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces”. (Isaiah 25:8). It is comforting to know that the grief and sorrow we experience is temporary. (Revelation 21:4). Further, recorded at Isaiah 26:19 , “Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust!.....And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life”. Because of Jehovah God’s purpose and great love for mankind, the restoration of life is guaranteed!
As you know, Jesus not only spoke of the coming resurrection (John 5:21, 28, 29), he himself was resurrected by his Father and performed many miracles including resurrections. All such miraculous events took place on earth giving us a precious glimpse of what is to come.......seeing our loved ones again! (Acts 24:15)
As you cherish the many fond memories of Mr. Berry, may Jehovah God continue to bless your family in the days ahead......
