Rosemary Lessel Stacy, 78, was born March 12, 1939 to James Lee Lessel and Ina Ewing Jeremiah in Lonoke County.
She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-one years: Donald Stacy; her parents and one brother: Jimmy. She is survived by one son: Gary Stacy (Karen) of White Hall, Arkansas; two daughters: Belinda Hayes (Jerry) of White Hall and Cindy Buckley (Gary) of Hardin, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Jason Hayes (Lindsey) of White Hall, Brittany Lindley (David) of Sheridan, Heather Long (Hank) of Pansy, Arkansas, Jeffery Hayes and fiancé Mikie of White Hall, Donald Tyler Stacy (Sarah) of White Hall; seven great-grandchildren; one sister: Rebecca Wilkins (Stanley) of Hampton, Arkansas; one brother: Julius Alvin Lessel (Sandie) of Stevinson, California along with her nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Rosemary loved her family, gardening, camping, and fishing as long as she was able. She worked as a bookkeeper for Mobile Waste and R. C. Cola. She was also of the Baptist faith.
Services for Rosemary will be graveside at Memorial Park Cemetery in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Saturday, October 28th, 2017 at 2:00 P. M. Visitation will be Friday, October 27th from 5-7:00 P. M. at Roller England Funeral Home (501) 842-3939.
I was sorry to see about your loss, but just wanted to touch base with you. My grandfather was Little Lessel and he had two older brothers, Arthur and Alvin. I think James Lee Lessel was a nephew of his. I have some pictures of the 3 as small boys and some taken at a reunion we had in about 1982.
