Sally Ann Birmingham, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully after a long illness on June 5, 2017. She was born March 8, 1933 in Lima, OH to Emerson K. and Letty J. Hott. She is a former resident of Plymouth, IN, where she wrote for The Pilot News. She has resided in Memphis since 1977, worked at William R. Moore, and retired as secretary of Maintenance at Christian Brothers University. She was a member of American Women's Business Assoc. and a Lady of both Elks and Moose Lodges. She was a friend to many and never met a stranger. The love for her children and grandchildren was genuine and immense. She was a member of The Catholic Church of The Ascension where she served as Eucharistic Minister for many years. She was proceeded in death by her husband Donn M. Birmingham, parents Emerson and Letty Hott, and brothers; David and Don Hott; and one granddaughter. She is survived by son; Donn and wife Jackie Birmingham, Broken Arrow OK, daughters; Julie Gaines and husband Mike Fulenwider, Spring, TX, and Kelly Birmingham, Gregorio Castro of Memphis TN; a niece, Patricia Hott, Dayton OH; half brother, Rick Couse and wife Paulette from Warsaw, IN; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In Lieu of flowers contribute to St Jude Children's Research Hospital or Church of the Ascension.
