Simone Suzanne Katz passed away on June 7, 2016 in Memphis, TN.
She was the only child of Pierre and Yvonne Triboux. Simone was born May 16, 1926 in Reims, France and came to the United States in May 1946 as a war bride and has lived in the Memphis area since 1951. She was employed for many years and retired at age 77 from Wal-Mart. Simone loved traveling, sewing and her cats.
Simone was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Marx Katz, her daughter Juanita Westfall and granddaughter Ashley Greenway. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Mobley (Buddy) and Cynthia Cooper (Finley). Eight grandchildren: Michael, Mark, Shane, Jason, Sherry, Amber, Finley ll and Bailey Six great-grandchildren: Ethan, Erin, Samantha, Dallas, Logan and Lily Grace.
Simone will be laid to rest along with her husband, Marx, at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas June 18, 2016. The Memorial service will be held June 18, 2016 at Roller Family Funeral Home, 3651 Austin Peay Hwy Memphis, TN at 1:00 p.m.
