Jesse L. McDaniel, 100, of Memphis died Wednesday, December 30, 2015.

Mr. McDaniel was a member of a Christian Faith Church, and retired from Ace Appliance Company and was a disabled WW II U. S. Army Veteran.

He was preceded in Death by his wife, Annie Mae McDaniel and a daughter, Sherrye Henson.

He is survived by two daughters, Dolly Williamson and Patricia Canale, a sister, Margaret Brunet and six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to service time at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Roller-Family Funeral Home with burial following at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery in Millington, Tn. On-line guestbook at www,rollerfuneralhomes.com

Patricia and Tom, Mr.McDaniel was a proud member of the greatest generation. He served our country in its darkest hours. We veterans that served after him used his shoulders to stand on and defend our country. There will never be another generation like his.

Pam, to you and your family I send my deepest sympathy. One of my best memories is meeting your parents and talking with them about the river during one the old Memphis in May festivities, where honor was given to past generations and their part in our history. I actually still have the article that appeared in the paper. May God's special love surround all of you and give you peace in your dad's passing.
