of Bartlett, TN
November 24, 2015
Wilbert C. Derenburger, of Bartlett, TN (formerly of Ohio) was relieved of all pain and suffering Tuesday evening, November 24, 2015.
Wil was 93 and is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Jane Derenburger, nieces, nephews and many friends.
His great joy was serving the Lord in Ohio and TN as a Sunday school teacher, superintendent, deacon, treasurer, cook and custodian. Many will remember him for cookies and fudge he shared with friends.
Visitation will be 1 pm Friday, November 27, 2015 at Roller Family Funeral Home on Austin Peay Hwy, with a 2 pm service. Burial will follow at Memphis Memorial Gardens on Germantown Road.
I loved my Uncle Wilbert...loved to hear his stories over and over. I'm going to miss his smile. I will always remember going to Sugar Creek and Hartville with him and my Aunt Mary. Aunt Mary I wish I could be with you right now. Ted and I are sending our love and if you need to talk call me. Today is Thanksgiving and we can be thankful that he isn't in pain any more and he is with the Lord. Love you Ted and Debbie

Dear Mary Jane,
Wil's homegoing is a loss for you--and for all of us who knew and loved him at Springfield Assembly--but such a blessing for him to now be in heaven with Jesus, and all of his friends who have gone before. (There have been many, many of those in recent years.)
Those of us who are still here will continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers. You are loved.
Mary Jane, Our hearts are heavy because Wilbert is no longer with you but we know it was so hard for you to watch him suffer with the pain. You both have been our special friends for many years even though most of the time we have been separated by many miles. We will be thinking about you in the days to come and praying for peace and comfort for you.

Mary Jane, we are saddened to hear of Wil's death. We wish we could be with you Friday and hug you close. Know you will be in our thoughts and prayers. Sue&Lynn
