Reda Johnson Short, 90, of Memphis, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Methodist Central Hospital. She was a retired RN, and had attended Birmingham school of nursing and was a part of the war effort in WWII assembling bombers.

Reda was a member of Bartlett 1st Assembly of God Church. She leaves one son Perry Short (Michelle); sister Freda Vincent and 2 grandchildren, Brittany Short Horton and Jared Short.

Visitation will be Friday, May 9, 2014 from 5-7 with a service Saturday May 9 at 12 noon both to be held at Roller Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memphis Memorial Gardens.
