Tony Henderson, age 25, of Waldenburg passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013. He was born October 15, 1987 in Jonesboro. He worked for the Larry Brooks Farm in Weiner. Tony was a member of the St. Anthony's Catholic Church. He was a proud member of Billy Britt's Racing Team and of the Weiner Fire and Rescue. He was proud to be a son, brother, grandson, nephew, Uncle Tony, cousin, friend, fireman and farmer. He loved to hunt and race, and was loved by all.
Tony was preceded in death by his grandmother, Chestene Henderson.
Survivors include his mother, Karen Ragsdale Martin of Jonesboro; his father, Jeff Parish of Wynne; his dad, Michael Henderson of Waldenburg; five brothers, Ricky Henderson and Kevin Henderson of Weiner, Jake Martin and Ryan Martin of Jonesboro, and Jeff Parish of Cheyenne, WY; three sisters, Ashley Henderson Thompson of Jonesboro, Mishanda Parish of Wynne, and Misty Henderson of Waldenburg; grandparents, David and Cecilia Ragsdale of Weiner, and Walker Henderson of Weiner.
Visitation will be 5-8 pm Friday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Weiner.
Rosary will be said 10 am Saturday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Weiner with services following at 10:30 am with Fr. Dhanraj Narla officiating. Burial will follow at Balch Cemetery.
Members of the Weiner Fire and Rescue will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that the Weiner Fire Department be considered for lasting memorials.
he was like a big brother to me and i miss him everyday and just the thought of him being gone breaks my heart. i know he was loved very much but no one can replace him. he was a great man but he was taken away before he really began his life, gotten married, and had children of his own.
