ROBERT L. ''Bob'' HILTENBRAND, 86, of Cordova, TN, died July 3, 2012. Born October 25, 1925, to Arthur L. and Martha C. Hiltenbrand of Naperville, IL, Bob graduated from Quigley High School, Chicago, IL, and attended St. Mary of the Lake Seminary, Mundelein, IL. A U.S. Army veteran 1946-47, he moved to Memphis in 1950 with his wife Annie L. Hamby Hiltenbrand. He enjoyed a 50-year career as a computer programmer and teacher at IBM, W.R. Grace, Shelby Systems, State Technical Institute, and as owner of R.H. Data Solutions, Inc. An active Catholic, he was a Eucharistic Minister and Lector at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, and a founder of Cursillo in Memphis. Bob leaves Jean, his beloved wife of 30 years; children Carolyn Furlotte (Tom), Bartlett, TN, Francis Hiltenbrand, Memphis, TN, Daniel Hiltenbrand (Kitty), Bartlett, TN; brother Ken Hiltenbrand, Jenks, OK; stepchildren Cam, Gail and Tim Taylor; grandchildren Rita Hall, Donna, Joshua, Stuart, David, and Jessica Hiltenbrand; and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Cordova, TN with visitation at 1 p.m. The family requests memorials to American Diabetes Association www.diabetes.org.
