Raymond Blake ''Da'' Clarkson, 72, died Thursday, May 10, 2012 in Memphis. He was a cherished husband, loving father and grandfather. We will miss our best friend.

A visitation will be held 12 noon on Monday, May 14, 2012 with a 2 p.m. service following, both at Catholic Church of the Ascension. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Patricia Gallagher Clarkson; sisters, Irene Craft, Verona Byers, Vera Crawford; brothers, Lloyd and Elden Clarkson.

Mr. Clarkson is survived by daughters Karen Oaks (Lloyd), Catherine Chesteen; son Kevin Blake Clarkson (Juli); brothers Bruce Clarkson of Covington, VA. and Emery Clarkson, of Charlottsville, VA; grandchildren, Jennifer Wilson, Brandi Bellanti, Kadie Chesteen, Alli, Kayli and Blake Clarkson; great-grandchildren, Skylar Wilson and Cailyn Bellanti.

In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be sent to Mid-South Food Bank and Life Blood.
