Hattie Louise Carpenter, 82, of Memphis, a retired nurse for Shelby County, died January 14, 2012.

She is survived by a son, Michael S. Smith; sister Marie Jackson; brother Troy Collier, 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Roller Family Funeral Home Wednesday, January 18, from 11-12 p.m. with a service to follow at 12 p.m.

Burial will in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
