Leroy Duty, 85, of Weiner, passed away Saturday, January 31 at his residence. He was born in Twist, AR on August 27, 1926 to Dillard and Susie Duty. He was retired from Riceland Foods. He enjoyed gardening, helping others and being outside.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Duty; his parents Dillard and Susie Duty; two daughters Jane and Martha; and a granddaughter, Kimberly Ann.

Survivors include two sons, Roy Duty and Danny (Deloris Howard) Duty; four daughters, Bridget Stallnacker, Barbara (Dewayne) Hooker, Doris Jean (Randy Western) Hunt, and Betty (Art) Rogers; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; first wife, Minia Duty Neal; and his baby daughter, Lil' Bit.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm Monday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Weiner.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Roller-Farmers Union Chapel at Weiner with John Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include William Stallnacker, William Stallnacker, Jr., Steven Stallnacker, David Weaver, Richard Johns, Billy Johns and Johnny Johns. Bobby Hooker will serve as an honorary bearer.

The family request that lasting memorials be made to the NEA Humane Society, 6011 E. Highland Dr, Jonesboro, AR 72401.
