Donna Ray Davis, 75, of Mabelvale, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on September 10, 1949, in Gladewater, Texas, to Herbert Ray James and Inez Marie Henley James.

Donna was of the Baptist faith and lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep devotion to her family. She found joy in quilting, sewing, camping, collecting crosses, two-stepping, skiing, and beating just about anyone at Yahtzee. Her cooking was legendary, and her grandbabies were her pride and joy.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Davis; her son, Chucky Ray Abshire; her sisters, Mary Ann Jackson and Phyllis Anderson; and her brother, Dean James.

She is survived by five children: Philip Abshire (Donne Clowers) of Mabelvale; Michael "Spanky" Abshire of the home; Kevin Davis of Minot, North Dakota; Kim Shaver (Terry) of Ratliff City, Oklahoma; and Teresa Matthews of Harrison, Arkansas. She also leaves behind her sister, Marcia Foster (Chris) of Ratliff City, Oklahoma; 17 grandchildren: BJ Abshire, Arial Abshire, Tommy Abshire, Justin Shaver, Harlie Presgrove, Abby Perdue, Kimela Abshire, Ryan Clowers, Emily Sutterfield, Erika Ultrino, Kaleb Abshire, Nathan Abshire, Brandon Abshire, Jennifer Berry, Jillian Bundy, Temperence Davis, and Kylan Davis; along with 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas, with Bro. Bradley McCool officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday evening, May 2, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home, 6700 Alcoa Road, Benton, AR 72015.

Donna's warmth, humor, and unconditional love will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
