James Alvin Riggs, age 67, of Harrison, AR died Friday, April 11, 2025. He was born November 11, 1957, the son of Jack and Etta Jean (Campbell) Riggs. James was a life-long resident of Harrison, AR. He graduated from Harrison High School, attended Twin Lakes Vocational School and North Arkansas College. James enjoyed music, reading science fiction books, painting, hunting and fishing.

James was preceded in death by his father, and niece Samantha Rose.

James is survived by mother, his brother and sister-in-law Richard and Debra Riggs; sister and brother-in-law Tammy and Roger Rose; nephews Brad Patrick (wife Jennifer), James Rose, nieces, Becky Riggs, Jessica Crim (husband Levi), great nephews and nieces; Dylan, McKenna, Ezra, Emberly, Felix, Tiffany, Chase, Haylee, Kayley. James also has many friends at The Springs of Mt. Vista.


An open visitation was held on Monday, April 2I, 2025.

The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to ''Three Wishes for Ruby's Residents" located at 216 S. Pine St. Harrison, AR.
