Thelma Jean Harmon Wyatt, 86, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025.
Thelma was born on July 19, 1938 in Batesville, Arkansas to Buck Harmon and Irma Welder Harmon of Bethesda, Arkansas.
Thelma was a member of Harrison Street Church of Christ. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for 50 years as well as a member of the Red Hat Society. Thelma was caring, persistent, strong willed, and was always a giver. She worked at Schnucks Markets of St. Louis, Missouri for over 20 years as a head cashier. She loved playing cards, planting flowers, and feeding the birds.
Survivors include her two sons, J.R. Wyatt (Melody) of Sulphur Rock and David Wyatt (Patti) of Jacksonville, Florida; one brother, Robert Harmon (Margaret) of Cherokee Village; nine grandchildren, Melina, Jackie III, Jesse, Jamie, Kristen, Steven, Corinne, Elizabeth, and Matthew; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jackie Ray Wyatt, Sr.; brother, Johnny Harmon of Biloxi, Mississippi; and sister, Esta Cargill of Batesville.
A private graveside will be held for the family.
