Wilma C. Sexton, 93, of Jonesboro, AR, passed from this life and entered a better one on Friday, April 11, 2025 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. Wilma was a registered nurse and worked in the emergency and I.C.U. units. She retired as she fulfilled her nursing career in Florida, Missouri, and Arkansas. She was born January 17, 1932, in Newport, AR, but moved around as a child. She attended and graduated from Polk Community College. She was a member of the state of Missouri Division of Professional Registration and a member of Nettleton Church of Christ. She really enjoyed being a nurse and helping people. Wilma enjoyed life. She was a people person. She supported our military through the V.F.W. She enjoyed being around people.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Sexton and Vida Langley Haywood; and a brother, Jerry Sexton.

Wilma leaves behind her caregiver, Jimmy Young.

Graveside services will be 10 am Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Jimmy Young officiating. No visitation is scheduled.

Arrangements are under the care of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
