Emma Jean Welch, 91, of England went to be the Lord on April 8, 2025. She was born on December 17, 1933, to Perry Bridges and Wilma Davis. She loved the Lord and was a member of England Pentecostal Church of God. She helped her husband in the upholstery shop for years, and later in life, she provided childcare for some in the community.

Emma Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Morley Welch; her son, Jerry Welch; daughter, Wanda Young; two son in laws Marvin Brown and Faron Young, and grandsons, Mark and Ryan Miller.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Rick) Miller of England and Brenda Brown of White Hall, one daughter in law, Kay Welch, one brother, Hubert Bridges and three sisters Lavern Underwood, Loretta Taylor, and Paulette Cochran. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: David (Christy) Mackey, Johnathan (Jessica) Welch, Amy (Lance) Shadle, Angela (James) Pennington, Jessica Young, Ross Miller, Adam (Lesley) Brown, and Aaron (Laura) Brown, Clay (Kim) Young as well as 15 great-grandchildren who were the joy of her later years.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her in return.
