Jeff Scott Sutterfield, 44, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at his home in Yellville surrounded by those he loved most.

He was born on July 15, 1980, in Harrison, Arkansas to Clarence and Gail Sutterfield. A man of Faith, Jeff was a member of Church on the Rock in Yellville, Arkansas where he was ordained and a Deacon of the church. He was a Godly man who had a passion for sharing the word of God with others; he jumped at any opportunity to preach. He continued to encourage others, even when he was going through hardships of his own. He worked at Harps Food Stores for 22 years, good chance if you visited the store, you would be warmly welcomed by Jeff himself. He was proud of the work he did and in 2011 earned an award for store of the year for the Harps in Yellville. He enjoyed the outdoors and would hunt and fish when he got the chance. He also liked to search for treasures with his metal detector. He had a love for sports, and even though he enjoyed playing basketball in high school, he loved watching his sons play sports even more. When Jeff wasn't in the stands cheering on his boys, you might find him refereeing on the basketball court or coaching youth sports. Jeff was the commissioner for youth sports for many years. In his down time, he loved to read, study the Bible or occasionally attend an Arkansas Razorback game and spend time with his family. Above all, Jeff was a kind man who loved big and loved without limits.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 16 years Cindy Sutterfield, sons Cody and Jonah Sutterfield, daughter Rebecca Sutterfield, mother Gail Sutterfield, father Clarence Sutterfield Jr., sisters Jennifer (Lane) Roubique and Celena (James) Beach, granddaughter Creeklyn Maxwell, grandson Cayden Sutterfield, many nieces and one nephew.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Clarence Sutterfield Sr., Juanita Sutterfield, John Solomon, Ruby Solomon and sister Laurie Lea Sutterfield.

A Memorial Service will be held at Church on the Rock in Yellville, Arkansas on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 2:00 pm with Bro. Kevin Duffy officiating.

Lane Roubique, David Abbott, Tony Allen, Cody Sutterfield, James Beach, Kevin Duffy, Aaron Fouraker, Jonah Sutterfield, Clarence Sutterfield Jr., Phillip Fouraker, Rebecca Sutterfield and Ryne Devore will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
