Margaret Ann Mitchell, 82, of England, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

She was born on June 3,1942, in England, to James and Cleo Hankins.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Perry Mitchell of North Little Rock; her son, Brian and daughter-in-law, Opal Mitchell of Cabot; her daughter, Kristina, son-in-law, Brad, and her precious angel of a granddaughter, Rebecca Ann Hanry of North Little Rock; sister, Paula (Chuck) Burns of North Little Rock; brothers, Robert (Grace) Hankins and William (Rene) Hankins of England, and Larry (Terri) Hankins of Springdale; along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Cleo (Rambo) Hankins and her father, James Alto Hankins of England; her sister, Katherine Horner of Rose City; brothers, Gerald Hankins and Dewey Hankins of England.

Margaret was a homemaker most of her life and took great joy in watching and caring for her nieces, nephews, and her granddaughter throughout the years.

She enjoyed gardening (especially her rose bushes), reading, and collecting knick-knacks of roosters and frogs.

Margaret was a woman of devoted Christian faith, who loved attending church services and participated in many bible study groups throughout her life.

She will be remembered for her kindness and loving heart, which was evident to all who met her, her bright smile, her contagious laugh, and her love for Diet Coke but hatred of ice.
