Janice Faye Moser Goins

Janice Faye (Moser) Goins, 68, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on April 5, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Janice was born on October 11, 1956 in Batesville, Arkansas to J. D. Moser and Evelyn (Haddock) Moser. Janice was a faithful member of Arbanna Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas. Janice's son, grandbabies, and family were the light of her life. She enjoyed watching her birds especially cardinals, visiting with friends and family, and pulling the occasional prank.

Janice is survived by her son, Dakota Goins; brother Paul (Tricia) Moser of Beebe; brother Dennis (Eva) Moser of Springdale; four sisters Linda Dale, Shirley Scroggins, Joyce Dowell, and Betty (Byron) of Batesville; three grandchildren Jackson Sutterfield, Montana and Millie Goins; along with a host of nephews and nieces, extended family and friends, special friends Sandy Liles, Phillip, Melissa, Melba, Roger Swafford, Shane Swafford and family, as well as many adopted children and grandchildren.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Larry, of 37 years, her father and mother in law, Alvie and Daisy Goins; brother Kenneth Moser, two nephews, Christopher Moser, Jason Helms; brothers-in-law Danny Dale, Billy Scroggins and sister in law, Patsy Goins.

Visitation for Janice will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Roller-Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, 2:00 pm at Arbanna Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas with Brother Jim Chandler and Brother Glen Swafford officiating. Interment will follow the service at Friendship Cemetery in Ben, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are Dalton Butterworth, Lance McElroy, Jeremy Goins, Jamie Goins, Jason Reynolds, and Heath Holland. Honorary pallbearers are her nephews, nieces, and all the kids who called her Nanny Janny and Mimi.

Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
