Mildred "Deanie" Dean Rand

of Omaha, AR

August 1, 1947 - March 30, 2025

Mildred ''Deanie'' Dean Rand, age 77, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Cox South surrounded by her family. The daughter of Leslie and Eva (Deis) Links, she was born August 1, 1947, in Dighton, Kansas. Her parents and her husband preceded her in death.

Deanie married the love of her life, Bob Rand, on August 3, 1963, in Amy, Kansas. She was a loving and outgoing woman. She spent her time with her grandchildren, in the outdoors, baking and in the nearest thrift store.

Deanie is survived by her daughter, Carol Sanders, of Branson, Missouri; her son at heart, Dale Sanders, of Omaha, Arkansas; her sisters, Faye Fairbank and Ila Head of Cimarron, Kansas; three grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be Friday, April 4, 2025 from 6-8 PM at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Gass Cemetery with Faye Fairbank officiating.
