Billie Sue (Miller) Darr-Doman Billie Sue (Miller) Darr-Doman, born to Bill and Margaret Miller in Olney, IL on April 30th, 1943, went to the Lord on March 27th, 2025. She passed away peacefully at Care Manor Memory Care Facility in Mountain Home, IL. Billie Sue is survived by her loving husband of 7 years Dale Doman of Mountain Home, Arkansas, beloved sister Marilee and brother-in-law Russell Bell of Maricopa, AZ, brother Jim Miller and sister-in-law Sue Miller of Spring, TX, brother Jerry Miller and sister-in-law JoAnn Miller of Greeley, CO, and brother Chuck Thompson of Craig, CO. She is also survived by brother's and sister-in-law's Steve and Carol Olejniczak of Shorewood, IL and Barry Darr of California. In addition, Billie Sue will be missed by many special nieces, nephews and close friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years James Darr and her parents Bill Miller and Margaret Thompson and Step-Father Charles Thompson. Billie Sue received a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Speech Pathology from Adams State College, CO in 1965 and a Master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education from University of Illinois in 1974. She spent many years at Speed School District in Chicago Heights, IL. Before retiring in 2001, she was an Educator, Administrator and later the District Supervisor of Early Childhood Special Education. Her work with children was very dear to her heart. Jim and Billie Sue moved from IL to start their retirement in Mountain Home and later in Yelleville, AR. Billie Sue was strong and devout in her faith. She and her late husband Jim greatly contributed to the construction of the Christian Church of Mountain Home which they were devoted members of.
Billie Sue married Dale Doman of Mountain Home, AR in November 2017. They were married amongst Billie's family in Missouri City, TX.
Billie Sue was known for making fast friends wherever she went. She had a playful and outgoing nature and loved a good laugh. She loved traveling and boating and some of her favorite memories were days spent on the lake with her family and friends. She spent much of her time caring for others and enjoyed quilting, crafting, and antique collecting. Billie Sue was loved dearly by her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, contributions and memorials may be made to your choice of charity. A memorial service date is yet to be determined but will be held in Mountain Home, AR.
