Betty Lou Kemp, 73, went to her Heavenly home on Saturday, March 22, 2025 in Dewitt, Arkansas. She was born on Monday, July 2, 1951 in Dorsey, Mississippi to the late Troy and Winona Langley. She loved fishing, hunting, doing puzzles and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Terry Kemp of the home; one son, Terry Kemp Jr. (Sonya) of Elaine, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Nellie Ray (Ricky) of Fulton, MS; four half sisters; two nieces and one nephew, whom Betty and Terry raised in their home, Patty Langley, Vicky Langley and Jacky Dewayne Langley.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Jacky Langley, Thomas Langley and Bobby Langley.

Serving as pallbearers are Stephen Simpson, Christopher Miller, Jackie Swindle, Cecil Yarber, Austin Miller and Logan Lawrence.

Honorary pallbearers are Justin Landrum, Micheal St. John, Tray Brown, T.J Kelley, Tanner Kelley and David Flowers.

A funeral service for Betty will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Brother Luke Watson and Brother Austin Lauderdale will officiate.
