Samuel Luther Mims, Jr., 66, of Helena, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025. He was born on Tuesday, February 3, 1959 in Helena, Arkansas to the late Samuel Luther Mims, Sr. and Evy Josephine Goodson.
He worked as an entrepreneur and in landscaping.

Samuel is survived by his one son, Samuel L. Mims III of Helena, Arkansas; one daughter, Jennifer McIntosh (Eric McIntosh) of Elkins, Arkansas; one brother, Paul Mims (Roc San) of Sacramento, California; sisters, Linda (Lee) Elwood of Hermiston, Oregon and Shirley (Adan) Gonzalez of Husum, Washington; grandchildren, Tara Leann Lawson of West Helena, Arkansas, Erica McIntosh or Elkins, Arkansas and Dalton Stickles of Elkins, Arkansas; one great grandchild, Braylon Lawson and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Luther Mims Sr. and Evy Josephine Goodson; brother, James Richard Mims and sister, Virginia Mims.
