of Conway, AR
December 14, 1950 - March 14, 2025
Timothy Michael Gray passed from this world March 14, 2025. Born December 14. 1950 in Anchorage, Alaska at Elmendorf Air Force Base to Cyril J Gray and LaBerta (Walton) Gray.
With his father being in the military, they traveled and lived in many places including California, Florida, Maine, Alabama, Japan and Okinawa. Eventually they settled in Arkansas where he attended school in Benton and graduating from Conway High in 1968.
His father was an avid golfer, so Tim grew up on the golf course. He became a gifted golfer at an early age winning more tournaments, trophies and titles than can be counted or remembered. Although he had many other interests and hobbies, golf, by far, stood out.
He was a loving son, brother, father, husband and grandfather. He will be remembered for being a kid at heart, friendly, kind, generous and having a big sense of humor. He was also blatantly honest at times and liked to surprise people with what he would say next. He touched more lives in a positive way than he will ever know.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents. Survived by those to cherish his memory: his wife, Janet K Gray; His 2 Sons, Michael Shane Gray (wife, Nicole Gray) and Adam Walton Gray (wife, Rachel Gray); 6 Grandchildren, Sydney Baker, (Kalem) Sam, Aiden and Avery Gray & Sawyer and Hank Johnston; 2 Great Grandchildren, Grace E Gray and Liam Michael Baker; sister, Jan Alice Hoskins, along with many friends.
A special mention and gratefulness to his regular daily golf buddies. In his last years, this was very enjoyable and important to him.
Tim refused to have a funeral but compromised by agreeing to a Celebration of Life. As part of the service the family invites whoever will, to participate by sharing a brief memory, story or quirky comment or quote he made. Please bring a big smile and help us celebrate his life.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 21st, 2025 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Friends are welcome to gather at 2:00pm for some great fellowship.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to UCA to Jeremy Brown Memorial Endowment Golf Scholarship. You can donate online through UCA Foundation's secure giving site, in person at Buffalo Hall or by phone at 501-450-5288.
