John W. Ballard, 63, of Trumann, AR, formerly of Jonesboro, AR, was called home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN. John was born February 2, 1962 in Poplar Bluff, MO to Vern and Barbara (Garner) Ballard. He was a graduate of ASU and self-employed. He was a member of Nettleton Baptist Church in Jonesboro and loved hunting, fishing, cooking and spending time with his family, that he loved dearly.

John was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of John include his wife of 37 years, Camelia (Wagner) Ballard; three sons, Patrick, Rhett (Lauren) and Brant Ballard; three grandchildren, Zeppelin, Lennon and Kinley Ballard; a sister, Valerie Ballard; a brother, David (Robin) Ballard and his cooking buddies, the Holy Smokers.

A memorial gathering will be announced by the family at a later date.

Arrangements are under the care of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
