Agnes Rebecca Owensby, 83, of Wynne, Arkansas passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 12, 2025. She was born on July 20, 1938.
Agnes was preceded in death by her life lone partner and husband, William George Owensby of Marianna, Arkansas. Agnes is survived by her four children, William Anthony Owensby, of Mesa, Arizona, Jeffery Steven Owensby, of Lincoln, Nebraska, Douglas L. Owensby, of Washburn, Missouri, and Sherry Melinda Lankford, of Hastings, Nebraska. Agnes is also survived by eleven grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren. Agnes worked as a nursing assistant for many years in Mesa, Arizona and also worked several years after retirement as a cafeteria worker at Forrest City schools. Agnes loved cooking for her family and always enjoyed going to family gatherings for the holidays. Agnes loved and cared for all of her children and grandchildren. Agnes can now rest in peace with her Lord and Savior and her beloved husband William George Owensby. No services are scheduled at this time.
